Entertainment will be provided - Christmas Carols; a monetary presentation to the St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry to help feed approximately 20 families at Christmas; a short story will be read. During this reading we will be passing gifts to the left or right as deemed by the story. We are asking everyone who wishes to participate in this "gift exchange" to bring a wrapped tree ornament ($5.00 maximum priced).PLEASE sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY; This Thanksgiving and always, let us be thankful for all that we have, family.
TRIP REMINDER: 7 December 2018, Friday - Program by Mary Mayhew and her students at Choctaw Nazarene Church, at NE 10th and Harper. Frank Cleary will be our driver. The program begins at 7:00pm., so we will leave from the Church at 6:15pm. Look for the sign-up sheet on the Golden Angels table in the Narthex the weekend of 1 - 2 December or contact Margie Madden at 769 3872.
COOKIES: There will be no cookie Sunday in December.
UPCOMING TRIP: Date to be announced - A December Lights Tour. Margie Madden will provide more information for this trip.
HELP NEEDED: Please consider being the person/persons responsible to take care of the plants at the southeast corner of the Church. This is the area the Golden Angels agreed to care for about three years ago. So, this should be a rotating volunteer project and all able members should participate. It's up to the "caretaker(s)" as to what types of plants are in the pots.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: Consider this an open invitation to anyone interested in attending the GA Board meetings. If you have ideas or if it's a complaint about how things are being done, please join us. We try to keep the meeting at 1 hour or less. You may have a place on the agenda to have your say but I must be notified in advance of the meeting so I can include you on the agenda. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:30pm in the Lamb Room.
God Bless, have a wonderful, thankful, Thanksgiving with family and friends. Margie Tisdel, GA Chairman
